Texas Retired Teachers Association – THE voice for all public education retirees in Texas! (trta.org)
Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) Day at the Capitol is scheduled for April 12, 2023, for all retired public educators in Texas to lobby for a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA).
TRTA has secured rooms and meeting space at the downtown Austin Hilton for those who prefer to travel into the city on April 11, 2023. Room reservations are available online through the Hilton.
http://www.trta.org/dac2023. The cost of hotel rooms is $229 (single and double), #249 (triple), and $269 (quad). These rates do not include tax or parking.
TRTA is also requiring an RSVP for all Day at the Capitol attendees in order to collect an accurate headcount for all events. Please visit the TRTA website for all information regarding this event. (http://www.trta.org)
